Please just keep your kid home. I want my kid to go outside.
Going outside is the equivalent of smoking 6 cigarettes. But sure, go damage yourself and your children.
You seem sort of weirdly hostile about this, and oddly are taking it personally. I don't know if this is some remnant of covid hysteria, or what. It's 24 hours outside that is like smoking 6 cigs.
Not PP but a teacher and pretty much every area school division eliminated outdoor activities. While I get that it it isn’t actually like smoking, there are so many kids and staff with health conditions that make this level dangerous.
Pretty much every area school district: no outdoor activities today or tomorrow, not safe. BASIS admin: We are aware that some local schools have canceled outside activities, but I have decided to carry on with the current plan of walking outside with your 5th grade kiddos for a couple of hours tomorrow. We did it today, and it wasn't too bad, even with my asthma. Masks help and sunglasses do too. If you're too worried about your child, please have them out of the building by 10am somehow, but make sure they are in the building on time in the morning, since they have testing that won't count for their grade and you won't even see. Toodaloo!
