By the end of my kids school journey in DC , nearly every one in their social academic cohort was on the same level. Pure fantasy. [/quote] I have a theory that since DCPS doesn't test for giftedness, most UMC parents just believe that their kids are gifted. If they were tested, as in other districts, they would get a reality check (and it would be the top 2 percent, or top 5 percent, or whatever, that made the cut.)[/quote]
