If they asked my advice I would probably advise against it, but as an adult they can make their own decisions. I wasn’t that young but I dated a guy in college that my parents loved and wanted me to marry. Broke up with him and started to date my now husband. My parents hated him and thought he was only after a green card and would kidnap our kids and go back to his home country. We got married anyway and my parents have since realized he’s a wonderful husband and even better dad. And he stuck around even after we got his green card! So you really never know. [/quote]
