The middle school teachers have told kids scores. The teachers definitely know. Again I wish there was some consistency
This is what I don’t understand - if middle and high schools can share, why can’t elementary?
I know - it's stupid. The teachers know the scores the day after the tests are taken. I think it's stupid that test scores are knowable and they keep from the parents. I think if a test score can be known - it should be given to parent.
Just because you want something doesn’t mean you get it. The entitlement is gross. There’s no need for you to have it immediately. You just want to know. Meanwhile, there are kids still testing. There are kids who have to do retakes. There are kids who have to do make-ups. If you’re this upset over a stupid SOL score, wait until your kid takes the AP exam. You have to wait 2 months. The horror!
I don't think entitlement to a score that is knowable is a big problem. My kids are in AAP and advance pass everything at this point so IDGAF anymore if I have to wait. I've gotten used to it at this point. My middle schooler for the first time got his scores within days of taking it and I was shocked and it just really made me realize how dumb it is that you have to wait in ES for no reason.
