[/quote] It all depends on the horse. Recall that in the past horses carried big strong men wearing suits of armor. Horses are routinely used to carrying heavy packs and animal carcasses on back country hunting trips. The rule of thumb is that horses can comfortably carry 20% of their body weight. So it all depends on the horse.[/quote]
