Al Gore said many of the world's coastal cities would be inundated by sea level rise by 2023. yes and humans did a lot in the intervening 30 years to help mitigate so instead of 2023 it is now more like 2050, but there is still more to do to try to prepare while also mitigating. Thanks for making the point that we CAN do something about it.[/quote]

Luckily the vaccine has worked and is working. So your scenario is false from the get-go.

People have to get vaccinated all the time. For school (do you not have children or remember when you were a child and had to get vaccinated. As in yes you were forced to either get vaccinated or to go to a different school if you chose not to).  Also to travel to certain countries.

I realize R's do not care about the common good or doing the right thing for society's sake. But man. More than 1,000,000,000 people dead. Including relatives of mine from before the vaccine. And I'm willing to bet also relatives and friends of yours.

So yes, if you work in a field like health where you interact with a lot of people and are told you need certain vaccines to be able to go into work, then you will have to choose between getting the vaccine or rejecting it and quitting your job. Lots of jobs have various requirements. If you don't like having requirements for a job then start up your own business.[/quote]

Outside of healthcare, give me one example of an employer demanding to see your MMR or chicken pox vaccination card. Both which by the way confer sterilizing immunity. Something that actually protects the general population. 
But every business was being forced to shake down employees for something that equates to the seasonal flu vaccine.

And again with your dismissal of all the Covid deaths. A big middle finger to you. I lost my mom because of Covid. Because someone else who had it passed it on to her, before there was a vaccine. The vaccine has saved countless lives including that of my child who has a pre-existing condition that makes her extremely vulnerable. Yes, I am angry at people like you who downplay the reality of our national trauma caused by this virus that you dismiss. The vaccine protects us. It protects my child.[/quote]
