I grew up in the same school district that Kate's old house (the $1 million+ house w/ the pool) is in- Wilson SD. It is a nice school district in a quiet, middle class area. Also, Lancaster Country Day is 45+ minutes each way from where that house is.

I think it was an ego thing for Kate. I can't think of any other reason to blow your kids' college money, put them through a 90 minute commute every day and spend $35k/year per kid when you have a perfectly fine, safe school district at your fingertips. It's not like the alternative to LCDS was Reading public schools or something. [/quote]
