Most cops are pro 2A because they look at gun ownership through the lense of someone who has very extensive training relative to your average idiot. If you want to carry a gun around town, you should be proficient in its use.[/quote]

Wow, people who as a group have a huge number of negligent discharges, engage in sketchy and downright bad shootings, lean toward unbelievable brutality, and get to carry their guns and high capacity magazines for the rest of their lives as some sort of new samurai class disfavor anybody else getting a share of the one life distinction they can claim!
