Tall? My 12 yr old is 5'11" and so are many of his buddies.
This is so tall! My almost 12 year old is 4'7 lol. He is pretty much the same height as all of his friends. None of them are over 5 ft yet. Do kids really grow between 11 and 12?
My son just took a photo with an old friend he hasn't seen since they were 12. The kid towered over my son then. He was already around 5'10". My son looked like a tiny baby next to him. They recently got together at 17.5 and the photo comparison from the one over 5 years ago is crazy. My son is now taller than him (a little over 6 feet and growing) and much more muscular/broad. My sons don't begin their growth spurts until they turn 15. My youngest just started his and we see the same thing with fully developed kids on his sports team--deep voice, facial hair and tall...and my kid just started growing, has a baby face, not filled out and much shorter.
