The reason I suggested OP not coast is because mental stimulation is what keeps dementia away. It'd be great to learn a new skill set in your late 40's. My dad is 75 and teaching himself Spanish, and re-teaching himself piano after retiring two months ago. He's keeping his brain sharp.[/quote]

C’mon. No 50-year old cares about taking up Spanish or piano. That’s the problem with all this BS about coast and do hobbies. You don’t have to work 60-80 hours/week to be good at your job. Get a little self-pride, buck up, and act like a mature adult. Lean in. Make a difference. [/quote]
