He's only 8!!!!!  These things change.  He may very well find his motivation.  M older child was unmotivated until about 4th grade.[/quote]

Agree. I was a good student, but not great, in elementary school. I was very good in middle school. Excelled in high school/college. It just took me a while to get going![/quote]
