To be fair, PR ranks Tulane number 1 for student happiness, while Georgetown is not even ranked in the T25. I know Georgetown seems like the obvious choice for many, but this should be accounted for when academics are not miles away but other factors (like happiness) are. [/quote]

Have you had students at both? I actually have. Academics are similar. People are deluding themselves if they think a school ranked 44 is so much lower academic quality than a school ranked 22.[/quote]

DCUM has a few (?) rapid anti-Tulane posters. I think they envision students that are drunk, hanging off balconies on Bourbon Street 4 nights a week. Grow up. The kids at Tulane are getting into other top 50 schools and are top students. The average ACT of the class of 2026 was 1473 SAT and 33 ACT, so it isn’t like they are idiots. Georgetown is more prestigious and the students have higher admissions stats. But to claim the academics are miles away is crazy. Tulane is great school. Georgetown is a great school. Let your kid decide where they feel the most comfortable. Good luck.[/quote]
