And also, just because a parent is a dumb ass and recklessly endangers their child - do you expect the police to ALSO engage in behaviors that hurt the child?  If the cop had tased a mom who was holding an infant or toddler in her arms, thus tasing the child, would that be OK with you?  Because it is NOT OK with me.

I expect more from trained police officers.  They have to very carefully assess and respond to each situation in order to protect themselves and the public and for goodness sakes, little kids.  [/quote]
