It’s very clear that the existence of historically black frats and sororities will run afoul of the law, as written. Some Florida legislators are trying to add an amendment to the law to carve out the frats and sororities, but have not been successful yet.

So yes, as proposed DeSantis would be eliminating the historically black frats and sororities. The only reason these organizations exist is because racist whites wouldn’t - and largely still do not - accept black students in their Greek orgs.[/quote]
