Dickinson has always been a hidden gem of a school. They have also always been generous with both financial aid and merit scholarship awards. More than twenty years ago, I was awarded merit scholarships and financial aid that covered almost all of my tuition plus room and board. Two of my siblings went to our state flagship and my parents actually paid more for each of them, even with financial aid, to go to the state school than they paid for me to go to Dickinson. It was a great education in a wonderful place. I am grateful for that and I give back to the school regularly so others can have the same opportunities I had.
Dickinson is so over the top amazing! It’s the ultimate for multi-disciplinary learning. They were doing it 30-40 years ago way before others caught on. You learn ‘how to think’ there. The professors are amazing. The small scale nature is friendly and makes the college a true learning community.
