I’d argue that it’s important you let go a little and let them experience natural consequences rather than mommy’s carrot and stick while the stakes are relatively low. They’ll learn about trade-offs and their priorities and limits. So if my kid does decide to skip, they’ll have to sort out how it affects or does not affect their grade, or others’ perception of them, or whatever..[/quote]
