Not all kids. Mine does not drink or smoke weed and he absolutely hates the culture. If he were religious he might have an easier time, but I can assure you there are some kids out there who do not get intoxicated. [/quote]

DP: There are some kids who do not, but perhaps not as many as there are parents who think their kids do not.  I think of my kid as a moderate partaker by what he tells us--and this seems okay and is supported by the fact that he's doing good in school, keeps a part-time job and other extracurriculars, and is up to go to the gym weekend mornings (he usually calls us on his walk home from the gym). But he has just let me know he has some concerns about the intake of another kid who is the child of friends of ours who are 100% convinced their kid would never do anything. [/quote]
