After a long day of school and sports and a propensity to get car sick there was no way I could do homework on the bus. Made for an exhausting day. As a result, and as someone who works and lives in DC, I will only send my kids to school in DC. Makes a difference for parents who want to volunteer occasionally and see their kids play home games too. Hope this helps, everyone has a different threshold and there are pluses and minuses to commutes, neighborhoods, etc. [/quote]
