Anyone see this? Is it accurate or? ---- if concerned about college matriculations, one should take a look at the schools these students headed to recently. To make it easy, below are 2022 matriculations for Holy Child, Stone Ridge and VISI. There is another recent thread comparing SR and VISI, so I pulled some data from there. Basically if one were to evaluate matriculations based on % of students going to USNWR top 25 schools, SR and VISI would be the better choice for a student concerned about college admissions to top schools. For the class of '22, the % of students matriculating to top 25 schools are: SR: 24.2% VISI: 22.5% HC: 8.7% (note only 2 schools represented--NYU and UVA--both #25) Note that for Holy Child, there were no top 20 schools. Also, I was surprised that as a Catholic HS, there were none going to Boston College, Georgetown, or Notre Dame...not even one student.
Depends on what the students are looking for. For example coming from Catholic they may want the top 3 Catholics which would be Notre Dame, Boston, and Georgetown. So for them top three in the country would include BC. Also BC is ranked #4 colleges for Finance. Also other colleges highly regarded for architecture are not listed as top 25 but their graduates start with very successful salaries and careers.
