Being busy, feeling useful, having energy, all sounds much better than sitting around hoping your kid will call you for a few minutes.[/quote] Well then, there are certainly better ways to ask your adult children to call you more or convey to them that you are lonely than guilt-tripping them, which is a sure way to make them dread calling you, as evidenced by this very thread.
