I'd really hate to be so miserable in life to find offense with someone wishing me well. It has nothing to you with your belief in God, but it does in theirs. THEY want THEIR God to protect you. If you can't see that as a nice act, there is no hope for you.

OP posted about someone saying it to her. Has anyone ever asked you in real life or here why you don’t say “bless you?” No? Because no one cares. It’s one of those things that no one notices if you say it or if you don’t. If this is OPs gripe for the day, she has way too much time and mental energy to expand on non issues. [/quote]
