Teachers make $55k - $70k to start depending on their education. Let's say your average teacher makes $70k for arguments sake. $70k is $191 / year. A quick search on wyzant of tutors teaching high school math courses reveals tutors charging anywhere from $60-$200 / hour. If you're at the low end of this, you'll need to work an average of 4 hours / day. If you're at the high end, maybe 7-10 hours / week? Anyway, feel free to fudge the numbers based on experience for teachers. Healthcare can be obtained through a spouse or government exchange program. [/quote] Sorry... $191/ day (not year)[/quote]
