Then they start talking about a mutual friend that is opening a business down the street and his wife just delivered a stillborn. I'm scrambling my brain trying to figure out how to remove myself from this situation. So I like cleared my throat and asked if there was anything else he needed from me (we really didn't even get into ANYTHING substantial) and he said nope I think this went great and would be excited to move you on to the final interview with XX please reach out to him directly to schedule.
