Not surprising to me. My dad was in a fairly normal damage level car accident where he hit his head on the driver's door window (the car didn't have curtain airbags). He received a fairly bad concussion from the hit. His brain never fully recovered. It started with him forgetting little things and progressed to where he has almost no short term memory. His lawyer was successful in arguing the memory loss was a result of the head injury from the accident. [/quote]
