Interesting because Georgetown Day School and Beauvoir  SO different. I’m just curious, what are the commonalities in these two particular schools that make them your top two choices rather than two similar schools?

I’m the PP. I don’t necessarily see a lot of commonalities between the two, but see different good things about both and am conflicted on what qualities are most important to me. I like the culture/community of GDS, but BVR seemed like such a joyful place for kids. I find it hard to tell at this age what kind of learning environment will be best for my child, so I struggle with how to view different educational philosophies or curriculums, though maybe that’s a reason not to do pk-12. I don’t know, there’s a lot to consider - and DH and I currently have different top choices (he favors GDS)- but I have absolutely no expectations that we’ll be in a position to have to choose.[/quote]
