We had a dishwasher with only two racks. When it died we got one with a third rack. We can fit all the same stuff we always fit into the first two racks, and now can fit 3 cat bowls, 6 ordinary water glasses (short kind), and little ramekins or extra silverware all into the third rack. I cook a lot for our family of four, and with the old dishwasher I often had a number of things that didn't fit and had to get washed by hand. Now I rarely do. Third rack makes all the difference.[/quote]
