My top ten based on talking to people and seeing the off-season. 1) Oakton 2) Yorktown 3) Langley 4) Woodson 5) Robinson 6) Battlefield 7) Centreville 8) Madison 9) Champe 10) W. Springfield
I think this list is pretty solid. Based on the play I saw last spring and what I'm guessing is the returning talent, I might bump C-ville up a notch or two. I think they would have easily handled Battlefield last year. I might bump Yorktown down due to some key injuries and a couple not playing this spring due to other sport commitments. As for the St. James winter games, they are meaningless and not at all indicative of any team's true talent and depth. You are a fool if you think Battlefield beating Yorktown 21-9 has any bearing on a potential spring match-up. From what I gather Yorktown only had 2 or 3 subs and borrowed 3 players from the JV team including an 8th grade younger sibling of one of the JV players so they could field a team and play the game.
Yea yea the ole of my sister had nuts she’d be my brother excuse. It was a STJ Winter game leave it at that. Luckily they have a early season matchup to evaluate.
Yorktown will be putting in their subs early. They dominate the early season match up
