My cousins and I are the first in my family to get a college degree.  Some elders [3 out of dozens]had associates degrees.  Some of my peers are in the trades and some are professionals and others are in the toilet based on the loss of manufacturing jobs.

I remember the world before the existence of community colleges.  So rather than use these lower cost venues for high ed we are supposed to support elaborate schemes for loans, grants, etc for ?.

Public service debt forgiveness?  Hmmm.  Lucky to have a job and the loans should not be forgiven.  How about majoring in sciences, engineering, and math etc?
