We visited, etc. [/quote] Yes, this is what I'm afraid of. Maybe I'm being silly. DC is in a magnet, near perfect SAT scores, 4.0 unw gpa.. good but not spectacular ec's. Most of the target schools are out of our reach financially, though DC still did apply, and the safety schools are basically the large public flagships. I confess, I'm a worry wart.
