I don't think taxes and funding need to be cut, but heads on the BOE and in central office definitely need to roll. The mismanagement of the school district is criminal.
+1 There should be consequences for breaking school rules. When I went to MCPS kids would get detention, suspended and expelled. There were consequences and the severe ones meant that parents had to take action with their kids. I remember when the this trouble maker was suspended for a week. It was great to be in a class with out having the disruption. When he returned he was better behaved, not perfect at all, but he knew the school wasn't joking around. I also believe that central office, the school board or whoever is in charge should also face consequences for their decisions and inaction.
Did he have a scar on his skull?
Funny, funny, funny. True, I could have written it better but what is true is that this kid was a major problem. What got him suspended and possibly expelled, was that he attacked a teacher. I’ll never forget it. This was 93 or 94.
