The shooter in CA used a machinegun according to police. Most likely it was a Glock pistol equipped with an add-on “switch” that was designed to be attached to a normal ordinary pistol to cause it to fire automatically. The same switches that have been turning up on lots of guns in DC and other cities.  They’re super illegal. They’re not made here, and you can’t buy them in the US. Where do you think they come from, then?

That's an unusal claim, given that individuals cannot own Glocks in China.  There is no Chinese market for such conversion kits.   Where's your evidence that these are being manufactured and imported from China?  And where is your evidence that these are being smuggled via Mexico?  And where is your evidence that such conversions aren't being done domestically?  Particularly given the explosion in ghost guns and other illegal and gray market guns and gun accessories being cranked out by cottage industries all across gun-loving 'Murka?[/quote]
