The biggest issue here is that OPs DH is a partner and is under the impression that billing hours, hiring, and diversity efforts are what matters in terms of value to the firm. My advice to OP is to suggest to her husband that he find new or different mentors to help him navigate his firm and the industry. Good luck. [/quote]
