The lazy approach is great because you literally do nothing— you just wait until your kid is consistently dry at night and then ask “do you want to wear underwear to bed?” and when they say yes, you let them put on underwear. This was a total non-issue in our house and if anyone judged us for it, I could care less. It was not a source of stress or concern at any point and my kid wound up fully potty trained anyway. Sometimes lazy parenting is good parenting. Not everything needs to be an uphill battle.[/quote]
