I'm confused about the inclusion of Takoma Park on this list. TPES/PBES/TPMS are all walkable for large swathes of the community. Blair is the nearest HS, including for kids at the far reach of Takoma Park that couldn't necessarily walk to the ES or MS. What part of the Takoma Park school assignment do you find "exceptional treatment?" [/quote]

The Blair accomplishments and accolades are a result of the students who got accepted to the magnet program. The same with the accolades and accomplishments of RM and Poolesville. Not everyone has highly gifted kids and not all students want to do STEM. The Blair envy is a made up idea that Blair parents on DCUM like to throw around to make them feel superior even when their own kids aren't even in the program. [/quote]
