Those kids have been planning their classes and ECs for years in preparation. If OP’s kid does have mental health challenges or something like ADHD that makes finishing tasks hard, it was dumb of OP to support the kid all along and then just drop the rope this close to the finish line. CC or rolling admissions schools are probably the right fit for a kid who doesn’t seem ready for the responsibility of college and managing their own workload / schedule. [/quote]
