I eat cake for breakfast sometimes with ice cream. Brownies this morning. Cookies when I make them. Pie is crazy good in the morning. Afternoon is a no no. No night snacking either. I learned over the years to quit eating the good stuff at night or I'll have a nasty painful gluten episode. I make my own food rules. No coffee, tea or caffeine to drink. Gave that up years ago. And no, I am not fat. I'm just old. Living the life I want to live. I only get sick from contaminated healthy food. That's shitty.
You sound like my grandmother (who was very thin her whole life, even though no one else in the family was). She would indulge at breakfast and lunch, then barely eat the rest of the day.
It is some form of intermittent fasting before it was a thing. A lot of times we'd see thin people eating a lot, not realizing that they probably spent rest of their day not eating at all. By the time they go to sleep and wake up those calories are long burned.
