If he is being very careful to only take photos of his own kid, and making sure that’s obvious to everyone else (putting down the camera when his own kid is at the other side of the pool or not in the pool or at the other side of the field) then I don’t believe that people would have such a problem.

But anyway, OP did actually say that he deliberately takes photos of other kids, you just didn’t bother reading it. He said he “follows the ball” with his camera. That means other kids.

And how many photos do you need?? I’d be annoyed if you took photos of my kid. OP said that he likes to put photos on Facebook. That’s not appropriate, he needs explicit parental consent for every kid in every photo to do that.[/quote]
