FWIW, the Whitetail kids tubing area is pretty tame IIRC. Not appropriate for infants but certainly geared towards toddlers/preschoolers! So check it out in a year or two OP.
OP here. Thanks to those who kindly said no and also really appreciate the slide awareness; I have to admit (I'm sure to no one's surprise, especially those calling me worst parent of the year) that I had vaguely heard of it but didn't realize the gravity of what could happen. I am not defending myself but I do feel like this picture (#1) on Whitetail's website is pretty misleading: https://www.skiwhitetail.com/explore-the-resort/activities-and-events/snow-tubing.aspx
Don't let the Bossy Flossies on this site get you down, OP. That kid in the picture on their website is very young, even if older than 10 months. And we have pictures of me on a sled as an infant sitting on my dad's lap. That was on a small hill at our local park but still. I totally get where you're coming from. DH and I visited the Holmenkollen Ski Museum in Oslo several years ago and I was amazed to see a ski suit on a tiny mannequin. It was a model of a(n actual) baby that had started skiing at 11 months so, it happens! But generally speaking, the PP who suggested sticking with the tupperware drawer for now has given wise advice IMO. :)
