Read what I said. They are getting a different educational experience. As in, after they get in. They aren’t getting all the perks and opportunities of non athlete kids.

And I am not an athlete or an athlete parent. My ex boyfriend, who I despise now, was a D1 athlete. As terrible a person and boyfriend as he was, I can tell you he worked harder than anyone I knew while in college, because he had a serious full time job as an athlete on top of being a full time student. It sucked for him. It’s just not the same thing at all and it’s nothing to envy. [/quote]

NP. Parent of athlete and musicians. Kids have worked at different periods of time. Being a school athlete is, by far, the most difficult and time consuming. [/quote]
