Licemeister comb and conditioner- seconding this suggestion. It’s really not that hard to get rid of and kind of peaceful just sitting there combing out lice. Makes me nostalgic for when we had it last almost. KIDDING JUST A BIT
Do your kids have thin hair? DD and I have very thick hair and it took hours and hours at the lice clinic one time to thoroughly comb after the heat treatment. Sounds like hell to me to do that for several days.
My kids have super super thick hair. It does take a while (30-60 min per kid depending on hair length) but isn’t so bad if you use a ton of conditioner. I was the one that said first two days do it both nights and then after that every other night, so total of 5-6 times. We watch a movie or a Netflix show and the time passes. Of course if they all have it at the same time, that’s the worst. What was really bad as the first time when I followed all the advice about washing everything Inthr house, vacuuming couches etc. k think that’s all unnecessary. Just run the bedsheets with any stuff animals they sleep with (or put he studies in a plastic bag for a week). The life really can’t live off the head for very long and can’t jump very far.
