It seems to me that many liberals/Dems view Cuba in a semi-positive light. Mostly I think because of misinformation. The idea that education is "free", that the health care system is any good, etc. Those of us who grew up there, went to school there, and still have family there know better. [/quote]

I hate to pick on a dead person but no she didn't.  She was hoping to make it to the US with him.  Her death was an accident.  If someone put a gun to her head and said I'll shoot you in exchange for raising your son in the US, then you'd be justified in saying so. [/quote]
