At least one of the dead is a UVA player, confirmed by his father on Twitter. I'm not saying the name because of all the issues Twitter has had with false blue verification marks. However, the word from people in Charlottesville is this happened on or at the team bus when it came back from the Pitt game.

As of 4 a.m., the suspect was still at large. Multiple police agencies looking with helicopters, bloodhounds, etc.

I feel terrible. We were at the game Saturday, drove down specifically for it. The Cavs played horribly and lost big time. I'm ashamed to say I had some unkind words for the players 😔[/quote]

Horrible to think what these student athletes are going through. These are, essentially, kids. Given the horrors unfolding, perhaps a wake up call to the people at the gam who chose to be so meanspirited with the booing. Terrible, particularly in hindsight.[/quote]
