Nah, i disagree with this.  I lived there for 10 years.  ALot of people in miami are poor and dress like crap.  Lots of young women who work at a mall kiosk and go out a lot and they still think wearing a cheap shein dress 1 size too small looks good.  In the professional classes, the admin are all from lower social classes and often do the same thing - wear too tight stuff because they think it makes them look good.  It's fashion 101 not to wear stuff too small. And all the other women in the office dress way more traditional and frumpy - my theory has always been to differentiate themselves from the admin class.

Most of the people living and working on miami beach look pretty normal.

There are definitely women who get all teh plastic surgery - but they're not who you're seeing day to day.

I just moved from Miami, and I disagree. Women and men are so much better looking. It sounds like you have a thing against admin. In Miami they take pride in their appearance. Hair, clothing, everything. I felt so frumpy. My ob-gyn office while I was pregnant was full of gorgeous women. [/quote]
