Frumin seems like a nice guy, but another voter here who just isn't willing to add another progressive rubber stamp to the Council. As a parent, I am absolutely FURIOUS over the liberal COVID hand-wringing and its devastating impact on DCPS students. Mailed it in for Krucoff last week.
science matters (to most people) [twitter]https://twitter.com/EbonyJHilton_MD/status/1586847408163520512[/twitter]
Oh! The "Science Matters!" folks! We are really still doing this? What exactly is a "good" outcome from COVID? It exists. 80% of the country has had it. Most people get it, recover, and move on with their lives. The suggestion that this doctor is making, that every child who gets COVID will develop an autoimmune disease or CANCER is assinine. It's fearmongering. It's akin to the folks who swore up and down on the science, and warned of a "genocide of Black and Brown children" when the mask mandate was lifted in schools... I have no doubt that if he had been on the Council, Frumin would have been complicit in the madness. As a parent, I need someone who might hypothetically stick up for reason if this were to ever happen again.
