MoCo property taxes are higher than Suffolk.

Suffolk is 1.09%-1.33%:

Here are MoCo rates, look at the right most colujmn for full rate:

It's mostly in the 1.10-1.20% rate depending on the area in MoCo. Then you get trash collection added to your bill also if you live in a SFH.
