5 foot 0 checking in, at 97 lbs. I'm 50. I walk and or bike 12-15 miles a week total. It's just a couple miles a day. Brisk walking on weekdays and weekend bike ride. I also do pushups but maybe only three times a week.I'm 32 25 32. More rectangular with small hips. Two children many years ago. When I hit 43 I went through a stressful phase, cross country move, elderly parents troubles etc. I was travelling a lot and eating out a lot over a six month period. I gained during this time 20 lbs. The only time I had been 120 was pregnancies. It took me nearly a year to drop 20. I immediately cut out all snacks and just ate three meals. I avoided anything with added sugars. I avoided refined grains and avoided processed food. The weight loss took just under a year and I never gained it back. Now to maintain I still don't snack unless it's weekend m. Dessert is perhaps once a month. I don't drink alcohol or soda. I eat full fat yoghurt cheeses, lots of nuts (raw, not crunchy sugary ones). I eat really cleanly and weight maintenance hasn't been too bad but discipline is important. I only eat out twice a month. Meal prep is important. I don't do low carb. But carbs are always whole grains like barley, oats etc.
