[/quote] It's interesting the push for the school holiday when many Indians in the area are contractors whose company doesn't provide the day off. Yes, they can take a vacation day if they have some available or they can take the day off without pay so many don't. The celebration mostly happens in the evening anyway so no reason parents couldn't work the day if they had to. Just some perspective [/quote]
