It's an extreme emergency.  The republicans attempted a coup not long ago and and are a threat to our democracy.   If they get in power, the end begins.   Use the reserve if it helps.[/quote]

So what you’re saying then, is that the president needs to both attempt to manipulate the global oil market AND use our own emergency supply of oil in order to interfere with an election - so that dems don’t get clobbered next month?

Put another way: “we have to manipulate the election to make sure it’s a ‘fair’ election for us”
