However, I would like to see new builds to have artisitic elements in it that gells well with the beauty of historical DC. 1. Remove the litter and trash, homeless and tents, trap and exterminate the rats. 2. More and better trained police force (And I am a hardcore minority Democrat). Crackdown hard on the dirt bike/4 wheelers and gangs of teens who beat up and terrorize people. Remove graffiti, paint the shabby exteriors of all homes. For FFS this is the capital of USA. 3. Historical residential areas should be maintained and their historical exterior characteristics should be preserved for the existing structire.
