If they would just put daventry back to Lewis it would be fine. That neighborhood already is closer to Lewis than wshs. Parents just fussed. Put them at Garfield/key/Lewis.[/quote]

WSES is one of the smallest elementary schools in fcps.

Remove Daventry from WSES and that school will be down to 1 or 2 classes per grade.  It is a tiny elementary school.[/quote]

Wasn't the administrative boundary change only for a portion of Daventry while the rest of it was already at WSHS?  The fact is there are 12 people on any given FCPS SB and 3 are at large members.  Garbage work from all at large board members on facilities - CIP - capacity - boundaries.

You are incorrect.

Daventry has always been zoned for West Springfield Elementary and Irving Middle school.

They went out of zone for high school.

Really, no elementary or middle school should be a split feeder.  The pyramid zoning needs to be a direct line into the nearest high school.

All boundaries should look as close to Fairfax, Falls Church, Lewis and West Springfield as possible.[/quote]
